HOW THE ASSESSMENT WORKS
You’ll answer 36 questions across seven key categories, helping us build a clear, personalised picture of your fatigue.

Getting a Sense of Your Fatigue Experience
Fatigue shows up differently for everyone. These questions help us understand the shape of your experience so we can make sense of the bigger picture.

Where You Are in Your Recovery Journey
People move through different phases of healing — sometimes slowly, sometimes unexpectedly. This section helps you locate where your body seems to be right now.

The Qualities of Your Tiredness
Tiredness isn’t just about low energy. It has different textures and patterns. These questions help clarify how fatigue shows up for you.

How Your Body Responds Internally
Our bodies often give clues about what’s happening beneath the surface. These questions gently explore how different internal systems may be contributing to your fatigue.

How Your Body Handles Stress & Overwhelm
Your nervous system plays a central role in both fatigue and recovery. These questions help us understand the state your system tends to settle into.

How You Tend to Cope Under Pressure
We all develop ways of coping that once helped us feel safe. Over time, some of these habits can quietly influence our energy. These questions explore your natural tendencies when life feels demanding.

Your Relationship With Rest & Activity (Pacing)
Healing isn’t just about rest or activity — it’s about finding a rhythm your body can sustain. These questions explore how you navigate that balance day to day.
What you'll discover in your report:

Your Recovery Stage
The Optimum Health Clinic has identified three stages of fatigue recovery: Deep Healing, Tired and Wired, and Reintegration. At the end of the assessment and based on your answers, we'll share which stage we believe you to be at. Determining the stage of recovery you are in is important in identifying and applying the most effective healing strategies and techniques for you in your current stage.

The Bodily Systems Most Impacting You
Our bodies contain a multitude of interlinked systems that play different parts in our functioning. While any of our bodily systems can contribute to fatigue, our 20+ years of experience has shown us that the nervous, digestive, endocrine, and immune systems are most commonly involved. Your assessment results will look at how two of these systems could be contributing to your fatigue.

Your Tiredness Type
Tiredness isn’t just about low energy. It has different textures and patterns. The questions you answer in the assessment will help clarify how it shows up for you. Knowing what type of tiredness you're experiencing can help you identify the best strategies to help resolve it.

The State of Your Nervous System
Your nervous system plays a central role in both fatigue and recovery. The results of your assessment will help you understand how well-regulated your nervous system is and, in turn, how much of your recovery should focus on resetting its state.

Your Personality Pattern
We have identified five core personality patterns which we believe significantly impact the likelihood of developing fatigue. Your results will show which pattern you tend to exhibit.

Your Relationship With Pacing
Healing isn’t just about rest or activity — it’s about finding a rhythm your body can sustain. The assessment will show how effectively you navigate that balance day to day.

Your Next Step
Based on your results, we'll make some suggestions on where you might want to put your focus. We'll also direct you to available support at the clinic.

Is this assessment right for you?

This assessment is meant for people who feel that their fatigue is more than normal tiredness — even if they don’t have a diagnosis.
You don’t need to have a label or a clear explanation. But if your fatigue:
-
Feels chronic, unpredictable, or disproportionate
-
Has changed how you function day-to-day
-
Hasn’t improved despite “doing all the right things”
…then this assessment was built with you in mind.
If you’re simply a bit worn out and generally bounce back with rest, this tool may not resonate.
